The construction of the section of the M4 expressway between Törökszentmiklós and Kisújszállás offers significant progress in the development of the country's transport infrastructure. Various phases of the project are taking place on the 34.29-kilometer section, from traffic diversion to asphalting to the construction of artefacts. Despite the fact that the entire section has yet to be handed over and the project faces many challenges, construction is progressing. Duna Aszfalt Projekt Zrt., one of László Szíjj's companies, is carrying out the investment. The bypass section in Törökszentmiklós is already partially usable, the right track is currently being rebuilt. The new route of the M4 and the temporary connecting road to the junction connected to it will be ready soon.
From October, the traffic of route 4 will be temporarily diverted to this route so that the final junction connections can be built. On the new 17.5-kilometer trail, great progress has been made in terms of earthworks and road base construction. Asphalting is also in progress, the binding layer has already been completed at 10 kilometers. The left lane of the Kisújszállás bypass is close to completion, but the wear layer and traffic engineering elements are still missing. The project also includes the renovation of five connecting public roads. Of these, only the road connecting Óballá has been completely completed, while the renovation of Kossuth Street in Törökszentmiklós will continue until September. The construction of the works of art is also progressing at a good pace, at the Töröksszentmiklós and Kisújszállás junctions, the track slab has already been completed at the bridges, and the construction of the connecting embankments is in progress. The bridge over the Nagykunsági Main Canal is expected to be completed by the beginning of November. There is still a lot of work to be done: public works, construction of rainwater drainage and infrastructure works for the company's communication system.
. Although the project still requires considerable time and work, it will hopefully greatly improve the traffic situation and safety of the area. However, the inconveniences associated with the construction will still test the patience of those driving there. Source and photos: magyarepitok.hu
