In the following years, the highway construction works will be transferred north of Žilina, towards Kysuce. According to the current situation, the machines will first appear on the northernmost section of the D3 highway, which also includes the second passage of the Horelica tunnel. The breakdown of the bids submitted for the tender is scheduled for next week. Another public procurement procedure is currently underway for the adjacent section.
The works will also continue near Višňové. In addition, the road construction industry and the state budget face a major project involving the construction of the last section of the highway between Bratislava and Kassa, at a cost of approximately 1.5 billion euros. This represents a total distance of nearly 40 kilometers.
